The space

Creating a space where every member of our community can feel welcomed and have their needs considered is essential.  We are proud of the diversity of our population; our community space must embrace and celebrate our diversity by fostering an inclusive approach to activities and programs.

It is important to us that we are open with each other and to the community about our work, our achievements and our challenges.  We believe that being open enables us to remain fair and to build trust with our partners and our community.

Our community space will be an environment where we can have open conversations to hear and learn from differing perspectives. Our community space will offer programs focused on local economic development, creating opportunities for community members. It will serve as a hub for networking and learning about various topics such as career development, mentoring, starting a business and bid writing.

We believe in the importance of building networks for increased access to opportunities and locally-driven solutions to strengthen economic, social, and environmental sustainability.

Community joy as a form of bringing together our people, breaking down barriers and enjoying our shared experiences.

A welcoming community space where new memories, celebrations, laughter and joy exist.

The Walworth Town Hall Community Space is located within newly refurbished Walworth Town Hall complex, a vibrant educational and workspace hub in the heart of Elephant & Castle.
